On April 16 at The Branch, All for One Ministries hosted a Connect Class on estate planning led by attorney Julie Rohrig of Williams Law Office. The evening focused on helping individuals and families think proactively about their future and the decisions that will impact those they love most.
Julie emphasized a key principle that shaped the night:“It’s better to have safety nets in place and not need them… but if you do have to use them, you’re very happy that you have them for your family.”
Through practical examples, she explained essential tools like wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, while also addressing common misconceptions. One of the biggest takeaways was that estate planning is not just for the wealthy. It's especially important for families who want a say in what happens to their children, assets, and care decisions.
She also highlighted the importance of personalization:“Estate planning should be customized to you… a well-designed estate plan is something that can really, really help your family.”
By the end of the night, attendees walked away with greater confidence and a clearer understanding of how thoughtful planning today can bring peace of mind for tomorrow.
